Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, energy efficiency limit values, energy efficiency target values and test methods for biomass-fired industrial boilers. This standard is applicable to fixed industrial steam boilers and hot water boilers that burn biomass solid briquette fuel and have a rated pressure less than 3.8MPa. It is not applicable to organic heat carrier boilers.
