- This standard specifies the categories, test methods, steps, evaluation methods and evaluation reports of inspection items during the structural safety assessment of gantry cranes. This standard is applicable to the safety assessment of metal structures of gantry cranes. The safety assessment of mechanisms, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is not included in this standard. This standard does not apply to gantry cranes used under the following conditions: ——flammable, explosive, and combustible gas environments; ——toxic gas environments; ——nuclear radiation environments.
