- This standard specifies the determination method for the determination of sulfur content in coal tar using ultraviolet fluorescence method and the determination method for the determination of nitrogen content in coal tar using chemiluminescence method. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfur and nitrogen content in medium and low-temperature coal tar and high-temperature coal tar with water content less than 0.5%. The determination range of sulfur (mass fraction) is 0.10%-1.00%, and the determination range of nitrogen (mass fraction ) is 0.50%-2.00%%.
