- This standard specifies the method for monitoring nitrile compounds in the workplace air. This standard applies to the determination of the concentration of nitrile compounds (acetonitrile, acrylonitrile, acetone cyanohydrin (2-methyl-2-hydroxypropionitrile), methacrylonitrile) in the air of the workplace.
