This document specifies the terms and definitions, product data and information, normal operating installation and transportation conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and other requirements for low-voltage DC distribution system protection devices. This document applies to low-voltage DC distribution system protection devices with DC 1500V and below. The device has protection, measurement, control and monitoring functions. It is usually integrated into a DC complete set of equipment, or can be used alone in a low-voltage DC distribution system.
