Scope

This standard specifies the investigation of overwintering population density and mortality of rice borer, investigation of development progress of larvae and pupae, investigation of hatching progress of egg mass density, detection of adults, investigation of borer damage rate, population density of each generation after winter, data recording and archiving method. This standard is applicable to the systematic monitoring and reporting of rice borer.
