This standard is formulated to standardize the design of flywheel energy storage power stations and ensure the quality and safety of flywheel energy storage power stations. This standard is applicable to the design of newly built, expanded or renovated flywheel energy storage power stations with a power of 500kW and above, and is not applicable to the design of mobile flywheel energy storage power stations. In addition to complying with this standard, the design of flywheel energy storage power stations should also comply with the relevant national standards.
