Scope

This standard specifies the atomic fluorescence spectrometry method for the determination of lead, arsenic and mercury in crude oil. This standard is applicable to the determination of lead, arsenic, and mercury in crude oil. The lower limits for the determination of lead, arsenic, and mercury are: lead 0.05 mg/kg, arsenic 0.05 mg/kg, and mercury 0.01 mg/kg.
