Scope
This standard specifies the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry method for the determination of 14 trace elements in hair, including potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, copper, aluminum, lead, nickel, lithium, cobalt, strontium, chromium, and zinc. This standard is applicable to the determination of 14 trace elements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, copper, aluminum, lead, nickel, lithium, cobalt, strontium, chromium, and zinc in hair. The detection limits of this standard are: 2 mg/kg for potassium, calcium, and magnesium, 1 mg/kg for iron and lead, 0.5 mg/kg for zinc, copper, and aluminum, 0.2 mg/kg for nickel, strontium, chromium, and cobalt, and 0.1 for manganese. mg/kg, lithium is 0.01mg/kg.
