Scope: This part specifies the vehicle test chamber, gas sampling device and operating conditions for the determination of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and carbonyl compounds in the vehicle under inspection. There are three measurement modes: one, room temperature mode. Simulate the measurement of VOCs and carbonyl compounds at an atmospheric temperature of 23°C without air exchange; second, parking mode. Simulate the vehicle to park under sunlight, and measure formaldehyde after the temperature inside the vehicle rises; third, the driving mode. The simulated vehicle is parked in the sun, the vehicle is started after the temperature inside the vehicle is heated, the vehicle is simulated to drive, and VOCs and carbonyl compounds are measured. A heat radiator is installed in the vehicle testing room to simulate average sunlight radiation.
