- This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for determination of 1,1,1-trimethylolpropane migration in plastic packaging materials and products that come into contact with food and the positive verification method of GC-MS. This standard is applicable to the determination and verification of the migration amount of 1, 1, 1-trimethylolpropane in plastic packaging materials and products that come into contact with food. The detection limit of this method for 1,1,1-trimethylolpropane in food simulants is 0.6 mg/kg (mg/L).
