Scope

This standard specifies the principles, equipment, sampling, test procedures, result calculations and test reports of the test method for measuring the light blocking properties of textiles and related materials using a light meter, that is, light blocking properties. This standard applies to various types of fabrics, including coated fabrics and other textiles based on textile materials. Not suitable for hollow and mesh fabrics.
