This document stipulates the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and qualification determination of isolation safety barriers, as well as marking, packaging and storage. This document is applicable to any isolation safety barrier with specific input and output variables, including analog signals, temperature signals and digital signals, and a specific relationship (transfer function) between the input and output variables (this document (hereinafter referred to as the isolation barrier).
