Scope
1.1 This specification covers the grades of trichloroethylene2 typically needed in various industries for noncritical applications such as in metal cleaning formulations. It may be used as a reference document by purchasers or persons establishing in-house trichloroethylene recovery programs. 1.2 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
