Scope

This International Standard specifies the minimum requirements for textile-reinforced, smooth-bore water-suction and discharge hoses. Two types are specified, as follows: — Type 1: Light-duty hoses for suction service to — 63 kPa (—630 mbar) and for discharge press-ures to 0,3 MPa (3 bar). — Type 2: Heavy-duty hoses for suction service to — 80 kPa (— 800 mbar) and for discharge press-ures to 0,5 MPa (5 bar).
