This standard specifies the classification, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitment of sealed lead-acid batteries for electric mopeds. This standard applies to sealed lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and battery packs used in electric bicycles, electric scooters, small electric mopeds, golf carts, etc. that use batteries as the main power source. The sulfuric acid electrolyte in the battery is stagnant and is adsorbed in the microporous structure between the electrodes or in colloid form. This standard does not apply to lead-acid batteries and battery packs used for starting, electric road vehicles, traction and other purposes.
