This part is one of the standardization projects of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine - "Technical Guidelines for the Design and Evaluation of Clinical Trials of Traditional Chinese Medicines for a Series of Common Pediatric Diseases", which was officially launched in June 2017. Entrusted by the Pediatric Branch and the Clinical Pharmacology Branch of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine took the lead in organizing domestic peer experts to set up a project team for this part and be responsible for its formulation. This part is oriented by clinical value, mainly under the disease-syndrome combination model, focusing on the clinical positioning, trial design and implementation and other related issues with the characteristics of disease types, children and traditional Chinese medicine.
