- This standard specifies the test principle, instruments and equipment, test piece preparation, test procedure and result calculation of water permeability of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. This standard includes test methods for vertical and cross-sectional water permeability of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes. The test method for vertical water permeability of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes is applicable to single-sided or double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, and the test method for cross-sectional water permeability of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes is only applicable to double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes.
