This standard specifies three detection methods for harmful phases in economical austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel, namely microstructure inspection method, Charpy impact test method and ferric chloride corrosion test method. This standard is applicable to the inspection of the precipitation of harmful phases of economical austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel in the production and manufacturing process (such as heat treatment or welding) or long-term use at a certain temperature, not applicable to economical austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel caused by other reasons A condition of reduced toughness and corrosion resistance in austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steels. Refer to Appendix A for the product grades mainly applicable to this standard. 2 Normative reference standards
