Scope

This document specifies the thermal expansion coefficient of isostatic graphite instruments and equipment, sample requirements, test procedures, result calculations, allowable differences and test reports. This document is suitable for measuring the linear thermal expansion coefficient of isostatically pressed graphite with a push rod thermal dilatometer. Other carbon materials can be used as a reference.
