- This standard stipulates the objectives of reducing the application of chemical fertilizers and increasing efficiency, optimizing the planting system, rationally increasing density, annual straw return to the field and substitution of organic fertilizers, application of cotton-specific slow-controlled release fertilizers and foliar water-soluble fertilizers, and supporting technologies. This standard applies to cotton areas along the Yangtze River, Huaibei cotton areas and Jianghuai hilly cotton areas.
