Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, storage, transportation and packaging of insulating tubes for hollow composite insulators. This standard applies to insulating tubes for hollow composite insulators. The ambient temperature applicable to the hollow composite insulators specified in this standard is generally -40°C ~ +40°C. If it exceeds this range, it will be specified separately.
