Scope: This standard specifies relevant terms and definitions, organic matter classification, and test methods for the determination of easily oxidizable organic matter content by potassium permanganate oxidation method, determination of organic matter content by potassium dichromate oxidation method, and determination of total organic matter, ash content, and mois ure content by ignition method. . This standard applies to solid fertilizers and soil conditioners made from organic materials as the main raw materials through fermentation and degradation processes. This standard also applies to non-product solid organic materials such as compost, agricultural waste and fermentation intermediates. The determination of mois ure content shall be carried out in accordance with the provis ons of Appendix A; the expression of the measurement results of easily oxidizable organic matter content, organic matter content, total organic matter and ash content shall be carried out in accordance with the provis ons of Appendix B. This standard does not apply to water-soluble fertilizers.
