Scope
This standard specifies the determination of dimethyltrisulfane (1,3-Dimethyltrisulfane), 2-isobutyl-3-isobutylpyrazine (2-Methoxy-3-isobutylpyrazine), 2- Methylisoborneol (2-Methylisoborneol), beta-cyclocitral (beta-Cyclocitral), 2,4,6-Trichloroanisole (2,4,6-Trichloroanisole), dimenalinol (geosmin , Geosmin) and beta-ionone (beta-Ionone) purge and trap-gas chromatography mass spectrometry. This standard applies to dimethyltrisulfide, 2-isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine, 2-methylisoborneol, β-cyclocitral, 2,4,6-trisulfide in domestic drinking water and water sources. Determination of chloroanisole, dimenalinol (geosmin) and beta-ionone. The minimum detection concentrations of this method are: dimethyltrisulfide 1.8ng/L, 2-isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine 1.0ng/L, 2-methylisoborneol 1.5ng/L, β-cyclohexane Citral 1.0ng/L, 2,4,6-trichloroanisole 0.8ng/L, dimenalinol (geosmin) 1.0ng/L, β-ionone 1.0ng/L.
