This standard specifies the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of total chromium in solid wastes and solid waste leach solutions. This standard is applicable to the determination of total chromium in solid waste and solid waste leachate. When measuring solid waste, the sample amount is 0.2 g, and the constant volume is S0 ml, the detection limit of this method is 8 mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 30 mgy/kg. For the determination of solid waste leachate, when the constant volume is S0 ml, the detection limit of this method is 0.03 mgIL, and the lower limit of determination is 0.12 mg/L.
