This document provides information on the goals and principles of social responsibility of publishing companies, basic practices of social responsibility, and core themes of social responsibility, and provides guiding suggestions for publishing companies to fulfill their social responsibilities. It applies to books, periodicals, audio and video, electronic publishing units and other units engaged in online publishing services. When applying this document, it is recommended that publishing companies fully consider their own actual conditions and conditions such as their own size, nature, and industry characteristics. Other units engaged in content creation, printing, reproduction, import and distribution of publications may refer to it.
