Test methods of continuous silicon carbide fibers—Part 9：Carbon content (English Version)

Scope: This document specifies the sample preparation, sample testing, and test result calculation for the determination of carbon content in continuous silicon carbide fibers by the high-frequency induction combustion-infrared absorption method. This document applies to the determination of the total carbon content of continuous silicon carbide fibers by the high-frequency induction combustion-infrared absorption method. The carbon content test of discontinuous silicon carbide fiber and matrix refers to this document. The carbon content test of other ceramic fibers refers to this document.
