- This standard specifies the site selection, facilities and construction requirements for the construction of manure treatment facilities in large-scale commercial broiler farms. This standard applies to the planning, design and construction of manure treatment facilities for newly built, renovated and expanded large-scale commercial broiler farms with an annual slaughter capacity of more than 50,000 birds. It can also be used as the basis for the identification of supporting manure treatment facilities for large-scale broiler farms.
