Scope

This document specifies the reagents, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, test preparation, test procedures, result calculations, test errors, and test reports for corrosion resistance testing of carbon materials. This document is applicable to the determination of the corrosion resistance of carbon materials used as anodes in the process of electrolytic smelting of metals and non-metals.
