- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, structure and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage requirements and quality commitments of electromagnetic flowmeters (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters). This standard is applicable to electromagnetic flowmeters with accuracy levels of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 that measure conductive liquid flow in closed full pipes. This standard does not apply to insertion electromagnetic flowmeters.
