- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, samples, test conditions, test procedures, calculations and test reports of the test methods for tensile properties of carbon/carbon composite materials at room temperature. This standard is applicable to the determination of tensile strength, tensile elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio, proportional limit stress and proportional limit strain of three-dimensional punctured carbon/carbon composite materials and quasi-three-dimensional needle-punched carbon/carbon composite materials at room temperature. Carbon/carbon composite materials with similar structures can also be implemented by reference.
