- This document stipulates the terms and definitions, classification and characteristics, technical requirements, and management requirements for the management of Class II biological safety cabinets in clinical laboratories; it is applicable to Class II biological safety cabinets used in all types of clinical medical institutions at all levels. Other institutions shall refer to the implementation, and the quality management of the same principles of Class I and Class III biosafety cabinets shall be implemented as a reference.
