Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for the organization, personnel, locations, equipment and facilities, and management system of product quality appraisal agencies. This document is applicable to the standard internal management of product quality appraisal institutions (hereinafter referred to as "appraisal institutions"), and also applies to the self-evaluation and third-party evaluation of appraisal institutions.
