This standard specifies the general requirements for superconducting cyclotron proton accelerator room shielding, dose rate reference control levels, shielding calculations and radiation monitoring requirements. This standard is applicable to the radiation shielding design of superconducting cyclotron proton accelerators with proton energies in the range of 70MeV to 1000MeV, and can also be used for the radiation shielding design of other types of proton accelerators with proton energies in the range of 70MeV to 1000MeV.
