Scope

This standard specifies the system composition, technical requirements, performance indicators, quality control and quality assurance for online monitoring of ambient air and plant boundary organic sulfur. This standard is applicable to the online monitoring of six types of organic sulfur: methyl mercaptan, ethyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, carbon disulfide, ethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide in ambient air and factory boundaries. Online monitoring of organic sulfur in the boundaries of industrial zones can be implemented with reference to this standard. The method detection limit of each organic sulfur compound in this standard is 0.5 nmol/mol.
