Scope
This standard specifies methods for detecting ractopamine in feed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and stipulates that the GC-MS method is the arbitration method. This standard applies to the determination of ractopamine in feed and feed additives. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method is the screening method, the detection limit is 0.01mg/kg, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method are quantitative methods, the quantitation limit HPLC method is 0.1mg/ kg, GC-MS method is 0.05mg/kg. Linear range: 0.005ng-0.05ng for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method, 2.5ng-10ng for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method, and 0.05ng-1.0ng for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method.
