Leakage detection technology for foundation pit enclosures with non-destructive testing technology as the core can conduct a "pre-physical examination" of the quality of foundation pit enclosures, discover "hidden dangers" in advance, and effectively reduce construction risks. In order to standardize and unify the technical requirements for relevant testing, ensure the quality of testing results, and give full play to the role of leakage detection technology in ensuring the safe construction of foundation pits. The leakage detection methods of foundation pit retaining structures in Shanghai area (array current field method and resistivity tomography method) were studied from the aspects of applicable conditions, instrument and equipment requirements, implementation process, detection parameter selection, and data processing and interpretation. Detailed and comprehensive regulations can provide scientific and reasonable guidance for relevant testing and comprehensively ensure the safety of foundation pit construction.
