Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the nominal page yield of a toner cartridge. This standard applies to toner cartridges for electrostatic imaging printers, copiers and multi-function machines (hereinafter referred to as equipment) of A3 and below formats. The same applies to drum assemblies that do not contain toner.
