This document establishes the working procedures for ex-situ stabilization and in-situ stabilization, defines the terms and definitions of wood fiber-based treatment materials, and provides the procedures for ex-situ stabilization, shallow in-situ stabilization, and deep in-situ stabilization. Applicable objects, stipulates operational instructions for the stages of excavation, transfer, stabilization, maintenance, assessment and treatment, monitoring and maintenance of contaminated soil. This document is applicable to the use of wood fiber-based materials to control soil contaminated by heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, zinc, chromium and copper.
