Scope

This standard specifies a purge and trap/gas chromatography method for the determination of petroleum hydrocarbons (C-C9) in soils and sediments. This standard applies to the determination of petroleum hydrocarbons (C6C9) in soil and sediments. When the sampling amount is 5.0g, the detection limit of this standard method for determining petroleum hydrocarbons (C-Co) is 0.04mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 0.16mg/kg.
