Scope: The Bong standard is one of a series of standards related to the sampling and testing of paints, varnishes and related products. The standard stipulates that under standard conditions, after the single coating or composite coating system of the paint or related products has been fully dried within the specified drying time, the reaction time between two painted surfaces or between one painted surface and another surface shall be measured.
