Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining silicon content by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of silicon content in pig iron, cast iron, low alloy steel, alloy steel and high temperature alloys. The measurement range is: 0.01% ~ 5%.
