- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, classification, characteristics, standard working conditions for use and installation, technical requirements, inspection rules and test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, quality promise. This standard applies to household and similar products with a rated frequency of 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz, a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V, a rated current not exceeding 63 A, a rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 10 000 A, and operating functions related to the power supply voltage.
