- This standard specifies a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of 47 pesticides such as organophosphorus and pyrethroids in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 47 pesticides such as organophosphorus and pyrethroids in soil and sediments. When the sampling volume is 10.0 g, the fixed volume is 1.0 ml, and selected ion scanning is used for quantification, the detection limit of this method is 0.2 to 0.8 mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 0.8 to 3.2 mg/kg. See Appendix A for details.
