Scope

Introduction- This SAE Recommended Practice suggests design criteria for maximum truck cab interior sound levels and describes the equipment and procedure for determining this sound level. This practice applies to new motor trucks and truck-tractors and does not include construction and industrial machinery as outlined in SAE J919.
