This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitments for terrestrial crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules. This standard only applies to ground crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules used in general climate conditions and hot and humid climate conditions. It does not apply to double-glass modules and modules with concentrators.
