- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, main characteristics and basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitment of textile thermal and moisture resistance testers. This standard is applicable to testers that have constant temperature and humidity functions and use the evaporative hot plate method to detect the thermal and moisture resistance of textiles at a specific air flow rate (hereinafter referred to as the thermal and moisture resistance tester). Note: For the structural description of the evaporation hot plate method, see 5.1 in GB/T 11048-2008.
