Scope
This document specifies the reagents, instruments and equipment, test procedures, precision and test reports for the determination of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc elements in viscose-based carbon fibers using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers. This document is applicable to the determination of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc content in raw yarns, pre-oxidized yarns and carbon yarns prepared from viscose fiber as raw material. The content range of the multi-elements measured is shown in Table 1. The determination of other trace elements in viscose-based carbon fibers can be used as a reference.
