This standard specifies the method for measuring the total energy of livestock and poultry feed manure using an adiabatic, isothermal or static oxygen bomb calorimeter. The result obtained by this method is the total calorific value of the heat produced by the combustion of the specimen concentrated into a constant volume of water at the calorimeter temperature. This standard applies to the determination of the energy value of livestock and poultry feed feces and urine.
