Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, identification and quality certificates, packaging, transportation and storage of fertilizer grade ammonium sulfate. This standard applies to the ammonium sulfate produced by the neutralization of synthetic ammonia and sulfuric acid, the by-product ammonium sulfate produced by coking, ammonia recovery, urea, caprolactam and acrylonitrile by-products, ammonia desulfurization or other desulfurization methods.
